A few list prompts to get you thinking about academic themes and get ideas for writing:
The idea of lists is to start to focus on a theme and look for what sparks your writer’s imagination.

List things you would like to learn about or learn to do

List things that you are proud of yourself for having learned

List your favourite subjects or things you learned in school

List stories, movies, series’ that are about or set in a school setting

Journal prompts for Sunday… Listening Skills!

Your kindergarten teacher was right. Listening is important! List a few times when someone didn’t listen to you and describe how it made you feel.

Wanna bet you’ve done the same thing? Take a moment to consider whether you need to STFU when someone is speaking to you. How can you be a better listener?
Try using the word of the day sometime this week.
Retrolark gave it a go with a mini story inspired by the theme and the worries of a teacher returning to school. Then we created two additional shots of her prep for back to schoool.
Divanthesimmer submitted Klass Klown, a student upset with his professor and he wrote this poem story for us to work with creating story images.
